I specialise in creating clear, impactful content that empowers people to make informed decisions about access. My services include:

• Access Content for Websites: Access begins with information. People need clear details to decide whether a space is accessible for them. I provide precise descriptions of your premises’ physical features—like entrances, steps, and bathroom facilities—that can be added to your website, social media, or newsletters.
• Accessibility-Focused Writing: I craft articles, social media content, blog posts, inclusive job ads, and more – all designed to communicate accessibility in a thoughtful, accurate way.
• Content Reviews & Feedback: Assess your existing content to ensure it is inclusive, with appropriate language and tone.
• Product Reviews: I write about accessible and adaptive products, showcasing their value and functionality for diverse users.
• Accessibility Advice: I advise on your business’s current accessible features, identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance inclusivity.
• Consulting for Content Capture: I provide specialist advice for photo and video shoots with people with disabilities, including:
  – Assessing and reporting on location accessibility,
  – Advising on working respectfully with people with disabilities,
  – Recommending accessible content to capture,
  – Reviewing final edits for inclusivity and accuracy.

Beyond writing, I work as an Inclusion Specialist for events such as music festivals, art exhibitions, and fashion parades, ensuring all attendees, performers, and staff have a positive and inclusive experience. My role includes:

• Pre-Event Consultation: Work closely with event organisers, venue managers, and production teams to integrate accessibility and inclusion into all aspects of planning. 
• On-site support: Serving as the primary point of contact for people with diverse needs – including people with disabilities, different cultural backgrounds, ages, and gender identities – addressing access-related issues and liaising with management, security, staff, etc., to enhance inclusivity.
• Advocacy for accessibility and inclusion: Identifying and addressing potential barriers, proactively improving accessibility measures, and gathering feedback from attendees and staff with access needs to enhance future events.
• Post-event reporting: Compiling a report summarising access services provided, challenges encountered, and recommendations for improving accessibility in future events.
