I’m a qualified Access Consultant and inclusive design consultant with lived experience of disability. I work with organisations, designers, and businesses to embed accessibility and inclusivity, guided by universal design principles, so their spaces and experiences work for as many people as possible.
Access Consulting
I provide access consulting expertise to help ensure buildings and environments are accessible, inclusive, and compliant. I work across a range of building types and at different stages of design, supporting teams to integrate accessibility early and avoid costly changes later.
My services include design reviews – assessing plans and layouts for restaurants, venues, and public spaces to identify barriers and opportunities for improvement – access reports, and audits.
I also offer access consulting for outdoor events and festivals, including advice on temporary infrastructure and event layouts, as well as projects such as tourist walks and other experiences.
I take a collaborative, practical approach, working with clients to achieve inclusive outcomes that support good design.
Access Content for Websites
Access begins with information. People need clear, accurate details to plan whether a space or experience will work for them. I write engaging, practical content about a venue’s accessible features, which can be used across websites, visitor information, social media, and newsletters, and I advise businesses on where best to share this information.
Accessibility Focused Writing
I write narrative content that explores access and inclusion in design and everyday experiences. This includes articles, blog posts, and social media content that help people understand why accessibility matters, celebrate inclusive design successes, and explore the human stories behind built environments.
Content Reviews & Feedback
I review existing content to assess accessibility, language, and tone, and provide practical feedback to improve clarity, inclusivity, and accuracy.
I’m also available to participate in panels, discussions, and advisory forums focused on access, inclusion, and the built environment.
